Do you want to work at the AOC as a business legal advice technician?
On November 10, the AOC brought together representatives from provincial councils, county councils, city councils, the Association of Professionals in Archiving and Document Management of Catalonia, the Generalitat of Catalonia and Localret at the Pati Manning to participate in a collaborative workshop on the electronic filing service. The objective of the day was to identify the problems and needs that local entities face in the closure and archiving of files, as well as propose improvements and solutions for the AOC's electronic filing service.
The session began with the welcome and presentation by Miquel Estape, managing director of the AOC, and of Pep Budí, deputy director of Digital Transformation at the AOC. Then, Raimon Nualart, Head of Service at the AOC, offered a presentation on the current situation of the entity's documentary repository and archive services.

During the first part of the workshop, the groups worked to identify the difficulties and causes that prevent the effective closure and archiving of files, debating aspects such as the lack of use of iArxiu or the current limitations in terms of staff resources and support. After the breakfast and networking space, the workshop focused on the formulation of improvement proposals, addressing issues such as the feasibility of an external electronic archive, integration with file managers, the role of AI in the classification and automatic closure of files and the opportunities of the DESA'L service.
Finally, each group presented its conclusions and proposals, providing a shared vision on how to improve the processes and the future of the AOC's electronic archive service. The day stood out for its active participation, the exchange of experiences and the common will to advance the digital transformation of local archives.
In the coming weeks we will publish the conclusions on the holding of this workshop.
