The AOC makes effective payment of subsidies to county councils to strengthen local support for local entities

During the month of August, the AOC has made the payment of subsidies to the county councils, within the framework of the call published in DOGC No. 9394, of April 16, 2025. 

These subsidies, intended for support the implementation and use of AOC digital services in municipalities with fewer than 20.000 inhabitants, aim to promote the digital transformation of local administrations, with special attention to those with fewer resources. In this context, the role of county councils is essential to ensure that smaller municipalities move towards an open, efficient digital administration at the service of citizens. 

The initiative is part of the AOC's strategy to strengthen the proximity model and ensure that digital transformation reaches the entire territory equitably, contributing to improving public management and bringing digital public services closer to everyone, regardless of the size or capacity of each entity.
