On Monday, Resolution EMT/2916/2025, of July 23, was published, which makes public the call for the granting of subsidies to cross-cutting projects of the social and solidarity economy and cooperatives in Catalonia, in the 2025 financial year (ref. RAIS IU-25-056).

The deadline for submission of applications is from July 29 at 9 a.m. to September 10 at 14 p.m.

The objective of these subsidies is to regulate the procedure for granting subsidies to cross-cutting projects in the field of the social and solidarity economy (SSE) and cooperatives in Catalonia. The subsidized projects aim to strengthen SSE entities through specialized dissemination, training and education programs.

This impulse is articulated according to line 1, “Transversal projects”, establishes support measures for projects with a cross-cutting approach to expand the promotion of the SSE, strengthen its positioning in various areas and renew its visibility in society as a whole, with the integration of different social and economic actors, in the areas of school and university education, training and dissemination. The line is developed in five programs and three projects, aimed at supporting and promoting cooperativism and the SSE. The program to which universities and professional associations can apply is Program 2: “University training in ESS”, aims to promote specialization and expertise in SSE and cooperativism in the university field.
