From the AOC we share with you the guide to good practices in sending notifications and communications to citizens a key tool to guarantee that citizens receive information in a clear, accessible way and with all legal guarantees.

Electronic notifications and communications are key tools to guarantee an efficient, secure and legal relationship between the administration and citizens. At the AOC, we have detected that a significant number of citizens and companies do not access the electronic notifications that have been sent to them, which can lead to significant harm.  

The guide collects recommendations to ensure that the interessat learns that an electronic notification or communication has been sent to him, Consells to take advantage of all the features of the service Enotum and brings together various good practices for the generation and sending of the same.

✅ Some important recommendations from the guide:

  • Difference between notification (with legal effects) and communication (without legal effect).
  • Take care of themessage subject: avoid unintelligible codes and use plain language.

  • Use the functionalities ofEnotum to facilitate access and registration of notifications.
