On April 3, the Council of the Accessibility Innovation Network of Catalonia approved the accession of the AOC as an affiliated entity to the AccessCat NetworkThe Accessibility Innovation Network of Catalonia is formed by research groups from different Catalan institutions and aims to provide solutions to a diverse society where all people must have access to information and communication. The AccessCat Network works to become a benchmark in the field of accessibility to information and communication, acting as a bridge between the world of research and the social and business fabric.
The AOC, committed to accessibility
One of the AOC's commitments is to guarantee that all people can fully access and use the digital services that administrations offer to citizens, exercising their rights autonomously. In this sense, the AOC's strategy is to certify the main services aimed at citizens with accessibility seals. The services e-Notum i VALID have already achieved the 3/3 star Accessibility Seal certification, following the criteria established by the UNE-EN 301549:2022 standard, which establishes the accessibility requirements for ICT products and services.
