The new Electronic Auction service includes support until the end of the process
The tool of Electronic auction of the Generalitat de Catalunya is an eContracting service that, through the AOC, is extended to local and university entities of a public nature.
A new electronic auction tool has recently been put into operation, with the aim of continuing to make this service available to the contracting bodies of Catalonia and to bidding companies, which provides all the legal and technical guarantees of the bidding process by electronic means.
The use of it implies a economic savings, allows increase competition of the companies that participate in the process, as well as, it favors the simplification and transparency to the procedure.
In addition to the renewal of the tool, from which the requested electronic auctions will be executed, with the change, also reinforces the accompaniment, both to the contracting authority in defining them, and to the bidding companies, offering assistance, both previously and during the auction process, until its completion.
Among the features and new features incorporated in the new Electronic Auction tool, the following stand out:
- New access URL: https://subhasta.contractaciopublica.cat
- Authentication of users through the Identity Manager (GICAR).
- Multilingual: available in Catalan, Spanish and English.
- Test auction with all the people participating in the process.
- Information on the progress of the auction in real time.
- Automated reports of the auction result that include the traceability of the actions carried out during execution.
- Guarantee of secure communication between users and the tool, through a secure communication protocol (HTTPS) that ensures end-to-end confidentiality.
