The AOC has been working during these months to define and finalize the roadmap of its services for this year, which is now available on the website of each service. This roadmap includes the main lines of action and strategic projects that we are promoting to continue improving the digital services that we offer to the Catalan public administrations and to citizens in general.
Among the most outstanding projects in this roadmap, we highlight:
- New EACAT services with HTML technology: we begin the migration of an existing service from EACAT Clàssic to the new HTML-based platform. The project includes the development of the new interface, integration into the new EACAT and an exhaustive testing phase to ensure quality before its launch into production.
- Issuance of idCAT digital certificates with remote registration: we implement a new process of remote registration by video identification for the issuance of idCAT digital certificates, improving the accessibility and security of the service. This new form of identity accreditation will allow avoiding trips to idCAT Registration Entities, achieving a 100% telematic procedure, with the time and money savings that this implies for citizens.
- Improvements to the ERES case management module: with the aim of improving the technical infrastructure and providing the files module with more functionalities, which facilitate integrated and more efficient management of the procedures associated with administrative procedures. Thus, in a first phase, in 2025 different Via Oberta services will be integrated, DESA'L as a documentary repository and the AOC's Portasignatures tool; and the service templates will be improved, allowing the personalization of logos and document footers. For a second phase, work is being done, with a view to the 2026 roadmap, on the integration with the Public Procurement Services Platform, the incorporation of the eSET model standards and an improvement in the design to strengthen the user experience.
- eNOTUM+ pilot test: we are starting a pilot test of this project to analyze the feasibility of offering, from the AOC, a comprehensive notification service (sending notifications both by post and electronically), guaranteeing the legal obligation of administrations to send electronically everything that is sent by post and taking advantage of the savings offered by economies of scale.
- Pilot of the new idCAT digital wallet: we are starting the deployment of this new mobile application linked to the idCAT Mobile authentication mechanism, to facilitate the management of digital identities and improve their security and usability. A mobile application that will allow the obtaining and use of verifiable attribute credentials and serve as a mechanism for remotely activating the certificates that the AOC will offer to citizens.
- Local World Data Platform: Several use cases are being developed to create the platform and offer advanced analytics services to local administrations. For example, work is being done on a document anonymization service, a comprehensive dashboard for the use of Via Oberta, a digital gap report, a dashboard for processing deadlines, etc.
If you access the website of each service and click on the "roadmap" menu, you will be able to see information on each of the outstanding projects that make up its strategic lines for this year, the status of development and the expected completion date, thus being able to follow the evolution of the projects that will mark the future of public digital services in Catalonia.
