This new space has been designed following the AOC design system to offer a clearer view of the numerous contents available, allowing users to quickly find what they need without getting lost in a sea of information.
Each course, video or seminar is now presented clearly and concisely, facilitating more intuitive and efficient navigation.
Less is more: focused on the essentials
The new AOC virtual campus focuses on the goal of training users, without anything superfluous. At AOC, we believe in the principle of “less is more”, and we have applied this approach to the design and development of the platform. By eliminating unnecessary elements and focusing on the essentials, we have created a learning space that is both functional and pleasant to use.
Filter by categories
One of the most outstanding features of the new virtual campus is the adoption of a filter system similar to that of online stores. We understand that searching for content can be a challenge, especially when it comes to a wide range of training offerings. For this reason, we have implemented this functionality that allows users to filter training resources by service, type of training, whether they issue a certificate of completion or not, etc.
This improvement not only streamlines the search, but also significantly improves the user experience, allowing you to find exactly what you are looking for quickly and easily.
Student personal space
The new virtual campus offers a personal space for students, allowing greater control over their education. This personal space allows users to manage their courses, track their progress and access materials from a single place.

In creating the new virtual campus, we have paid special attention to accessibility. We want to ensure that all our users, regardless of their abilities, can access and benefit from our training offer. We have implemented several measures to ensure that the platform is inclusive and easy to use for everyone.
In this way, Accessibility even extends to videos, guaranteeing a full experience for everyone.

The AOC design system
The new virtual campus has been developed following the new AOC Design System, which has simplicity, collaboration and accessibility as its fundamental principles.
A design system is a set of rules, guidelines and principles for the design and development of digital products, ensuring consistency in terms of style, design and functionality, and is the result of the effort we are making to improve the user experience of AOC services.
At the AOC we are migrating our interfaces to this new design system, in its version for public administrations (EACAT, Virtual Campus or Support Portal, for example) or, in its version for citizens and companies (eNOTUM, e.g.). Additionally, we have shared this design system, making it accessible for reuse, for any public administration.
Soon, we will migrate other interfaces, such as the portal idCAT or the general AOC portal.
