The number of people using digital services has quadrupled since the pandemic
The digital transformation of administrations is progressing progressively towards a fully digital country. From the AOC we rigorously evaluate this process of digital transformation and we can affirm that year after year citizens, companies and society in general enjoy the benefits that the digitization of the public sector entails.
El balance of the use of AOC 2024 services shows that the use of digital services has intensified: the number of transactions per day by citizens, companies and administrations has increased from 1,5 million in 2023 to more than 2 million in 2024.
The availability of AOC services has increased from 99,7% in 2023 to 99,8% in 2024 and 80% of users rate digital public services positively or very positively. The percentage of procedures carried out digitally remains at 78%. Regarding digital processing and transparency rights, the 100% of the Catalan administrations already guarantee them, a figure that has been maintained since 2023.
According to the AOC methodology, using AOC services saves time, paper and money. Specifically, 4 hours per person per year, 11 documents annually and 614 million euros.
In addition to providing digital administration solutions, from the AOC we accompany administrations and public personnel in the digital transformation. In 2024, the support service managed more than 65.000 requests attended by people and 144.000 attended by chatbots; training sessions and conferences were organized and attended by nearly 6.000 people.
