Digital natives and public administration: a growing gap, conclusions of an AOC workshop
The Deputy Director of Organization of the AOC, Ignasi Albors and the Deputy Director of Technology, Ruben Cortes, have participated in the International Week BBS-University of Bologna, explaining the AOC project. This activity is one of the different visits that made up the program of this seminar that is part of the Executive Master of Public Management and Innovation organized by the Bologna Business School (BBS)- UniBO for a group of 25 public managers from the Emilia-Romagna region, on March 10 and 14, in Barcelona.
Ignasi Albors gave an introduction to the AOC, explaining who we are, where we come from, who we serve, what services we offer and why? and presented the main figures of our activity. Next, Rubén Cortés focused more on the technological side, explaining the AOC's strategy focused on citizenship and the transition to the cloud, and how we design and monitor services.
La International Week BBS-University of Bologna has focused on examining and learning from the multi-level administrative system in Catalonia and Spain, explaining to students first-hand innovative methodologies for change and good practices in improving public service delivery. The program combines theory with practice, progressively introducing topics through carefully selected case studies and visits to local and regional institutions. These activities showcase both successful approaches and challenges encountered during implementation, providing a comprehensive perspective on reform and innovation in public administration.
