Reminder: Removal of TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 protocols in AOC services
To commemorate Encryption Day 2025, the Catalan Chapter of the Internet Society (ISOC-CAT) held a conference on October 21 to discuss the importance of encryption on the Internet. The topic covered during the conference focused on the issuance of attribute-verifiable credentials and their use using identity wallets.
The identity and electronic signature advisor of the AOC, Dani Martínez, participated in the conference to talk about the legal context and the new electronic identity model established by Regulation (EU) 2024/1183 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 11 April 2024, amending Regulation (EU) No. 910/2014 as regards the establishment of the European digital identity framework, or eIDAS2. Dani Martínez He detailed the technological transformations that Catalan public administrations are implementing to comply with the regulation.
