The AOC consolidates its chatbots with AI: more people served, high level of quality and 96% savings
The Auditorium of the Administrative District hosted the Transformem Conference, a conference aimed at workers from the Secretariat of Telecommunications and Digital Transformation, to share vision, experiences and commitment to digital transformation and which brought together more than 280 people.
The AOC actively participated in the conference, presenting some of the Secretariat's most outstanding projects, led by the AOC, in the session "Let's transform: A smarter, easier and friendlier administration", led by its director, Miquel Estapé, in which the different directors of the Secretariat participated; and in the session "Transforming tandems: the value of collaboration", also with the collaboration of the Girona Provincial Council.
An institutional beginning and a strategic view
The day began with the institutional welcome by the Minister of the Presidency, Albert Dalmau, who highlighted the team's work and the key role of digital transformation in public policies. Following this, Secretary Albert Tort introduced the Secretariat's priority areas and gave way to a round table with the main general directorates and entities of the public digital sector.
The Secretary General of the Presidency, Eva Giménez, also participated in the event, explaining the role of the secretariat in the strategy for transforming and improving the public services of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Collaboration experiences and participatory dynamics
The heart of the day revolved around the "Transforming Tandems", where seven cases of real collaboration between the STTD and other areas of the Administration were presented, such as the telecommunications infrastructure project with Roads, the SISCAT model with Health, or the digital shock plan with Education.
In this sense, the director of the AOC, Miquel Estapé, and the head of eMunicipalities of the Girona Provincial Council, Àstrid Desset, presented the collaboration strategy between the AOC and local entities, to promote smart local governments and face the challenge of ensuring that no Administration, no matter how small, as is the case with the local entities of Catalonia, is left behind when it comes to taking advantage of the potential of data and AI to improve services. Therefore, in this "tandem" format they presented different projects that respond to this challenge, such as:
The session was completed with a group dynamic to devise collective solutions to specific challenges in public services and the final intervention by Secretary Tort, who thanked everyone for their involvement and emphasized the importance of continuing to work with a shared vision.
