As a result of the approval of the Royal Decree 888/2022, of October 18, establishing the procedure for the recognition, declaration and qualification of the degree of disability, the service that offers disability data from the rest of the autonomous communities has been renewed.
Therefore, if for your procedure you need to consult the disability situation of the person concerned,eresoutside Catalonia, here is a summary of the data that is returned:
- the degree of disability specifying the percentage
- the type of disability of the person: physical, psychic, sensory, mental, intellectual
- recognition or not of reduced mobility
- need for third-party competition
- need for an accompanying person for public transport
- recognition of whether the disability is permanent or not
And indication of several effective dates necessary for the procedure:
- Recognition of reduced mobility.
- On the recognition of the need for third-party assistance
- Date since the disability certificate is vàlid
- Date on which the disability certificate will be reviewed
Finally, please note that this service does not include the option to consult disability data in the autonomous community of Catalonia, as this consultation must be carried out expressly by the service offered by the Department competent in matters of disability of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
