Requirements for requesting data from an EU (or European) vehicle for a traffic violation

Since April, the data query of an EU vehicle for a traffic violation (formerly EUCARIS) from the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) is now available at Via Oberta.

To request this modality, in addition to the usual information to justify access to the data of Via Oberta, it must be taken into account that the DGT, as the issuer of the data, requests a series of specific requirements that we list below:

  • Procedure code: the DGT establishes that the procedure code used to consult the data of a vehicle for a traffic violation is exclusive to this modality. To this end, it has been added to the form Via Oberta un specific code, the 2947EUC, which you will find by selecting "Notification of traffic fines" as the type of procedure.
