Improvement of notices in representation searches
The Represent service, if the contact details are provided during the representation and the sending of communications is authorized, sends a notice every time there is a change of status in the representation. Until now, Representa only sent notices by e-mail, but now it will also be possible to inform the mobile phone number and an SMS notice will be sent to the indicated phone.
In this way, then, it will be possible to report the e-mail address, the telephone or both contact details and depending on the data reported an e-mail, an SMS or both will be sent, each once there is a change of status, to the agent (who grants the powers) and to the representative (who receives the powers).
When a representative is registered, the contact details can be indicated, but they can be modified at any time, from the citizenship portal, from the option Modify the data or, by going to a user service office, from the public employee portal.
What notices does the Representative send?
The Represent service sends a notification whenever there is a state change and occurs:
Likewise, a reminder is also sent when a representation will expire (1 month before, 1 week before and on the day of expiry) and a reminder when a representation is pending acceptance (1 week later and 1 month later).
