The service iARXIU is finalizing preparations to move entirely to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud. This migration is part of the strategic plan for cloud transformation of AOC services initiated in 2022 and through which the migration to the cloud of different AOC services has been carried out; such as PSIS, VÀLid, MUX, ERES, e-NOTUM and DESA'L. This process aims to promote the digital transformation of the AOC to guarantee the quality of the services it offers.
In this regard, we inform you that the current on-premise environment will cease to be operational on December 3, 2024, and the new environment will be available from December 5, 2024. This involves a 48-hour disruption for migration tasks.
Therefore, it is essential that applications integrated with it adapt their integration to target the new environment. IARXIU on AWS. It is important to do the necessary tests in the new pre-production environment to ensure the correct operation of your systems.
To make this adaptation, you only need:
an endpoint change, replacing the current one with a new one from AWS
IMPORTANT: Keep in mind that domains in AWS do not respond to a single IP address, and that IP is constantly changing randomly. So, you need to remove any restrictions at the IP level in relation to the new domains (iarxiu-pre.aoc.cat and iarxiu.aoc.cat). Likewise, any geolocation restrictions will also need to be removed, as the service will initially be offered from the Ireland area, but this will change in the future.
