Multichannel administrative notifications: on paper and electronically
e-NOTUM equates its operation in relation to natural and legal persons, allowing the creation of notifications without contact data, when it comes to subjects obliged to relate electronically with public administrations.
In this way, in the case of legal entities, notifications can always be created without reporting contact details and, in the case of natural persons, when it is indicated that they are subject to electronic relations with public administrations. This functionality was available via integration from July 2023 and will now also be possible via EACAT screens, starting next May 15.
In accordance with the provisions of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations, natural persons may choose at all times whether to communicate with public administrations for the exercise of their rights and obligations through electronic means or not, but there are certain groups of natural persons who are obliged to relate to it electronically.

Leaving aside the latter group who do not apply as recipients of electronic notifications via e-NOTUM by virtue of their status as employees, e-NOTUM allows the sending of notifications without contact details to natural persons who consider subjects obliged to relate to the administrations electronically, while indicating this attribute, either via integration (consult the documentation) or, via EACAT screens (consult informative FAQ).
