- Open administration
The AOC participates in the International Week BBS-University of Bologna explaining the strategy of the AOC
Clear communication has become one of the administration's principles of action in its relationship with citizens. One of the main criteria for the design of digital services is the use of plain language or, as TERMCAT states, using a "simple and efficient writing style that allows readers to easily understand the written text, which is based in the use of concise and clear expressions, an ordered linguistic structure and a good design of the document".
In this way, from the AOC we work to promote this clear communication and to do so we have the figure of a user experience manager (UX) who is responsible for ensuring that digital services are easy easy to use and understanding.
The UX team is currently working on new and comprehensive design systems, which are gradually being rolled out throughout the ecosystem of services provided by the AOC. Some examples of this work can be the new EACAT, the extranet of the Catalan public administrations, or the electronic notification service e-NOTUM.
This task of UX analysis and promotion of plain language, work is also being done on two key services from the citizen's point of view: the transparency portal and the e-TRAM electronic processing portal, services that have an impact on the active publicity of the information, and in the files and forms that a significant part of the councils makes available to citizens to process electronically.
