As we already announced in the month of June '23, we remind you that a new e-FACT integration mechanism has been developed that will improve security and efficiency in the exchange of invoices between the e-FACT General Point of Invoice Entry and accounting records of public entities.
Who does it affect?
This change affects the entire Catalan public administration integrated with e-FACT.
What should I do?
- Integrate into the REST API: consult the e-FACT integration documentation via REST API, on the AOC GitHub.
- The integration must have been done before the deadline of October 1, 2025.
- All new integrations will have to be done via REST API. No new FTP/sFTP mailboxes will be created.
- After this date, the use of FTP/sFTP mailboxes will not be allowed.
what changes
- New secure communication channel:
- We have created a new integration channel based on API REST technology, which is more secure and intuitive.
- This new method replaces the previous information exchange mechanisms based on FTP/sFTP.
- Enhanced security: improvement in security protocols to protect data.
- Access to FTP/sFTP mailboxes: From now on, all new integrations will have to be done via REST API. Access to FTP/sFTP mailboxes will not be granted.
- Which entity applications are affected by this change?.
- This integration is only for the Accounting Registers of Invoices (RCF) of public entities.
- Els Administrative records of tickets and exits of entities can receive invoices and check-in receipts, through integration with MUX v3 (not e-FACT).
- It is not allowed to integrate the Administrative records of tickets and exits, nor of Case managers in the e-FACT.
