As already communicated in July, on September 13th between 15 and 20 p.m. there will be a cut in the Registration Entity service idCATThe outage is due to the entry into production of a new version of the Registry Entities operator website that includes some operational changes to the service. idCAT Certificate. We detail them below:
Changes to the operator website access URL idCAT
The website of the RE operators idCAT will move from the current https://www.idcat.cat:4443/ a https://scd.idcat.cat/
With this change we release the ERs idCAT to enable security ports and improve usability. To access this URL, no changes will need to be made to computers and operator cards will work as before. To facilitate the transfer, from now until October, both URLs will work.
Realization of authentic copies
From the day of the intervention, those ER idCAT who wish, may make authentic copies of the documentation (signed acceptance form and/or photocòpia of the supporting document) from the ER operators' website itself idCAT.
This evolution facilitates the archiving of the documentation, since it will not be necessary to keep the documentation on paper in accordance with the current filing procedure.

Removal of postal address and contact telephone number in certificate requests
In accordance with the guiding principles of personal data protection, we no longer collect certain contact details in certificate applications. idCAT: postal address and mobile phone.
Until now this data was optional and has never been included in the certificate.
Disappearance of the suspension
From this intervention, the possibility of suspending a idCAT certificate, that is, the temporary cancellation of the certificate (until its automatic revocation or revocation 120 days after the suspension).
This fact implies, therefore, the elimination of the certificate enablement option.
Possibility of revocation by the citizen
Citizens, without the need to go to an ER in person idCAT They will be able to revoke their certificate electronically. They will also be able to do so, as they have done so far, at any ER.
