The use of digital services increases by 11%: balance of the AOC 2023
The managing director of the AOC, Santi Gallardo, has presented, as part of the presentation of the activities of the Open Government Week 2023 the 2022 Open Administration Recognition event, which will be held on March 29 at 17 p.m. in Manresa.
The Open Administration Awards are the awards that the AOC gives each year to the town councils and county councils that have excelled in the digital transformation of their relationship with citizens and in their internal management. This is the VIII edition of these awards, an event that can be followed live through the AOC Youtube channel, and which distinguish seven categories according to the number of inhabitants of the entities and their nature:
These recognitions they are drawn up in accordance with the AOC's Digital Maturity Index which assesses the level of digitization and open government of Catalan local administrations. The IMD is one unique and innovative initiative, both at state and international level.
It is a data-driven project and, as such, requires data governance (data governance). As Gallardo explained, the information is from 947 town councils and 41 regional councils, the data comes from 10 different sources and more than 30 indicators are calculated, organized in three dimensions:
