To carry out procedures in the name of minors, is it necessary to register their representation with the Representative?
Last June 15, as part of the activities to disseminate the products and services of the AOC Consortium, the Maresme Regional Council and the AOC Consortium, with the collaboration of the Vilassar de Mar Town Council, organized a day of dissemination of the Representa service.
The day was attended by managers and technicians from city councils and county councils in the province of Barcelona, with the main objective of explaining how the service works, its possibilities and presenting use cases and examples of 'implementation to different public bodies, to respond to the difficulty that many managers of public entities in Catalonia encounter when putting into operation, within their organization, the electronic register of powers of attorney.
The session was welcomed by Mrs. Laura Ribot, Minister of Innovation and New Technologies of the Maresme Regional Council; followed by the presentation of the service by Ms. Judith Aguas, head of service of the AOC Consortium Representation; and of the use cases of its implementation, by the hand of Mrs. Anna Bruy, head of the Citizen Service Office of Alella City Council and Mr. Rafael Ruiz, responsible for interoperability and electronic administration and Ms. Sara Anaya, archivist, both from Sentmenat City Council.

What is the Represent?
Representa is a common electronic register of powers of attorney that the AOC makes available to the Administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya, the local entities of Catalonia and to public bodies and public law entities linked to or dependent on the above.
This record is shared for all of them; that is, it is not an individual or independent record, which entails co-responsibility in the processing of personal data contained therein.
