At the AOC we work with great concern to guarantee, as much as possible, the safety of theHèstia and the data of the basic Areas of Social Services. That is why the portable version will soon cease to be available that we publish from theHèstia for ABSS that use virtualization environments, such as Terminal Server or Citrix. It has been detected that there are Social Services professionals who still use this version of theHèstia (C6.1.0.13). You can check if there is one in your ABSS from the “Configuration” section, “Registrations” tab, “Application Access” option.
We have developed a new version of the official client of theHèstia which is distributed with Microsoft's ClickOnce technology. This version, now available in the download page, is compatible with the main virtualization environments. We need your collaboration to finally replace the portable version of theHèstia that you use before June 30, 2023. The option you should test with is the one you'll find published as the standard version:
At the AOC we do not have appropriate environments similar to yours to be able to test it, and that is why we request your collaboration to start the change process and that it does not drag on over time, reaching coincide with the removal of the portable version. Since December last year, ABSSs that were part of the pilot to use the standard version have been able to make the switch without much trouble.
