The legal residence data of a foreigner have ceased to be intermediated with the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Function, being the General Directorate of Police in charge of offering them details of legal residence in Spain of a foreign citizen.
Consequently, the AOC Consortium has incorporated into the catalog of interoperable data and documents, the new legal residence service for foreigners, provided through the State's Intermediation Platform.
Authorizations
To be able to use this service, the General Directorate of Police requires authorizations to be requested for the new modalities available through the Via Oberta form available at EACAT.

That is why it is essential to apply for registration at the new Legal Residence for Foreigners service made available by the General Directorate of Police.
This change of issuer implies the willingness on the part of the Intermediation Platform of the State of discontinue the legal residence service offered by the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Service next October 31 of this year, given that the data is already available through the General Directorate of Police.
However, having detected that the new DGP service is not returning the same data offered by the service that is to be discontinued, the State Intermediation Platform has been requested to extend the unavailability of the service legal residence offered by the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Civil Service, until the DGP service incorporates the same data that is being consumed.
