As many of you know, it's easy to get view data from transparency portals: just check the internal transparency dashboard, or go to the open data portal.
This information, however, is not sufficient to answer the questionnaire that the Complaints Ombudsman will send this year regarding compliance with the transparency law, because it goes a little further and also asks for the number of downloads associated with the transparency portal.
To solve this problem, we at the AOC have created a new specific data set: "Citizen visits and downloads to the AOC-XGOC transparency portals for the year 2022"
This new dataset specifically shows visits and downloads of documents on transparency portals for the year 2022 and makes it easy to get:
- The number of pages viewed: understood as the total number of pages viewed in 2022 per portal.
- The number of downloads: understood as the number of documents downloaded in 2022 per portal.
- In this case it should be noted that one download is counted for each file effectively downloaded from the portal, and on the other hand, accesses to external links (for example, pointing to the website of the entity or to another administration or service external to the portal) are not counted ).
We hope that this information will be useful for you to fill in the Ombudsman's questionnaire (2022), and remember that beyond this resource, from the AOC we offer a set of data with all the detailed information of visits to transparency portals segmented by year, in case you want to go deeper.
