As many of you know, it is easy to have data on views of portals. transparència: just check the internal dashboard of transparència, or go to the open data portal.
This information, however, is not sufficient to provide an answer to the questionnaire that the Catalan Ombudsman will send this year regarding compliance with the law on transparència, because it goes a little further and also asks for the number of downloads associated with the portal transparència.
To solve this problem, we at the AOC have created a new specific data set: “Visits and downloads by citizens on the portals of transparència AOC-XGOC for the year 2022”
This new dataset specifically shows visits and document downloads on portals transparència for the year 2022 and allows you to easily obtain:
- The number of pages viewed: understood as the total number of pages viewed in 2022 per portal.
- The number of downloads: understood as the number of documents downloaded in 2022 per portal.
- In this case it should be noted that one download is counted for each file effectively downloaded from the portal, and on the other hand, accesses to external links (for example, pointing to the website of the entity or to another administration or service external to the portal) are not counted ).
