The revocation is an irreversible state and means definitively invalidating a digital certificate.
A certificate can be revoked by:
- The person in charge of the service
- The person holding the certificate
- The AOC Consortium, as a provider of digital certification services
Previously, in the case of loss or theft of the T-CAT, the certificate could be suspended and enabled later.
Currently, this status has been removed and the service manager or if applicable, the person holding the certificate can directly revoke the certificate when necessary.
