New information banner about the upcoming municipal elections on e-mail and transparency portals
To facilitate access to information about next municipal elections on May 28 we have created a new banner that incorporates information about the details of the municipal candidacies, as well as associated doubts about the elections, by means of two figures that alternate for that purpose. Previously, in the last elections to the Parliament of Catalonia in 2021, we created the banner that informed about the request to vote by mail using idcatòbil.
This new banner has been deployed to the services associated with open government, and will temporarily replace the one that reinforced the information about "My Space".
The banner gives access to doubts about the electoral processes linked to the website promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya, and above all, the details of the candidacies that are presented thanks to the collaboration of the CIDO (Deputy of Barcelona) which in the case of the municipalities of the province of Barcelona has facilitated the extraction of all the municipal lists published in open data. In the case of the demarcations of Girona, Lleida and Tarragona, access links to the respective Official Bulletins where it is easy to consult, either by municipality or filtering from the available electoral boards.
From the AOC we promote the use of informative banners in the headers of some of our services. We do it with the double aim of promote the use of digital public services i to promote the pedagogy of the rights of citizens when it relates to public administrations. It is a simple, practical and quick action that, with almost zero costs, can reach many people.
What if I'm not interested in having the active banner?
If one of us does not want to have the active banner, it is only necessary to enter the open government services menu (editor role), and by accessing “Customize transparency” / banner turn it off
You only need to press the deactivation of the only currently available banner ("My Space"), which has temporarily been replaced by those of the elections. After the municipal elections, and for a few weeks, we will leave the publication of banners inactive by default.
From the AOC, we continue to work on new types of banners, both to disseminate new services and to make it easier for citizens to know the details of their digital rights. Once available, we will promote them on the different portals associated with the open government services we offer.
