In the framework of theOpen Data Day 2022, the AOC Consortium, in collaboration with Tarragona City Council, Miravet City Council and Garcia City Council, is organizing an online demonstration day on 10 March where different experiences that can be interest for data re-users, citizens and public workers who want to deepen their knowledge of the data that administrations publish on their open data portals.
The day, which will be held through the TEAMS platform from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., is structured based on 6 questions that will be answered using open data.
The session will work on topics such as the entities of a municipality, public debt, municipal budgets or the distribution of the population in the municipality by age. Spreadsheets, tools for extracting, transforming and loading information, tools that make it easier to make dashboards and solutions for displaying results on maps will be used. All this to make the most of the possibilities that open data gives us.
THEOpen Data Day is a 10-year-old global initiative where groups from around the world create local events and use open data in their communities to create applications, visualize, open data, or publish analytics. This is an annual event that seeks to promote open data knowledge worldwide.
