Digital Government Congress: the space for strategic connection between the administration and companies
The Open Administration Consortium of Catalonia has participated in the cyber protection day for local administrations held in Tarragona and organized by the Cyber Security Agency of Catalonia (ACC).
The session was opened by the delegate of the Territorial Delegation of the Government in Tarragona, Ángel Xifré, the director general of the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia, Thomas Roy, who presented the "Cybersecurity model for local administrations", through which the ACC provides preventive and response services and solutions to cyberattacks, and the general director of Localret, Andrew Francisco.
Marta Arderiu, Deputy Director of Technology and Services at the AOC, outlined what the AOC can contribute in its collaboration with the ACC to spread the culture of cyber protection through the services it offers to the local world. The Head of Information and Communication Technologies of the Tarragona City Council also participated in the day, Pep Budi, and the systems manager of the Provincial Council of Tarragona, Oscar Smurf.
Addressed to the staff of local administrations, this day also presented practical cases of organizations that have already joined and deployed the Model, the enrollment procedure and the resolution of doubts of the people present at the day.
