Last November 21, the 1st National Open Data meeting took place: "Towards a data policy with a true purpose: territorial cohesion", organized by the Government of Aragon, the Provincial Council of Castelló and the Provincial Council of Barcelona.
The day had more than 100 attendees who exchanged experiences, but above all it served to highlight in a collaborative way the disruptive leap that needs to be implemented in our institutions to promote data governance, taking into account that data, whether open or not, is the critical element to achieve digital transformation.
The AOC Consortium was invited to the meeting to participate in the table relating to "the local bet to fight against depopulation" (corresponding to table 5), where it explained its experiences to promote the role of the public in the design and co-creation of the services it offers, exemplifying this commitment to "place the public at the center", through active listening, the publication of quality and open public reports, and the promotion of transparency and open data to all the organizations it serves.
