The Advisory Commission of the Cybersecurity Agency is set up to deploy Catalonia's cyber security model in the local world
On July 14, a conference on cyber protection was held in Girona aimed at local administrations and you can recover the video of the session.
The conference was presented on Cybersecurity model for Local Administrations, offered by the Catalan Cybersecurity Agency through which it provides preventive and response services and solutions to cyberattacks. This model has three main objectives:
- improve the level of cybersecurity of local governments
- improve the ability to support / respond to threats and incidents
- implement a culture of cybersecurity
The event was attended by David Ferrer, Secretary of Digital Policies, Oriol Torruella, general director of the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia, Silvia Bartrolí, manager of the Gironès County Council, Laura Casadevall, head of Informatics of the County Council of La Garrotxa i Mark Garcia, head of systems at Girona City Council.
