The AOC provides digital proposals to simplify procedures between the administration and social entities

The AOC Consortium participated in the round table "How should digitization promote the relationship between the administration and social entities?" in the conference "Digital simplification in public administration: proposals from social entities" organized by Lafede.cat I la Table of Entities of the Third Social Sector of Catalonia in order to reflect on how to reduce the bureaucracy of the administration and favor its relationship with social entities.

The director of the AOC, Astrid Desset, has highlighted the importance of interoperability so as not to request information that is in the possession of the administrations and easy and usable digital identity together with the service Representa of the AOC to accredit the representation of an entity.

The general director of Digital Administration and Organization also participated in the table, Núria Espuny, and the head of the Open Government Department of Sant Feliu de Llobregat City Council, Ascen Moor.

The three representants of the administrations have agreed on the need to coordinate more between agencies and also with citizens and entities to design simple, easy-to-use services and solutions, with understandable language, adaptable to any device (especially mobile), which are also more robust to guarantee full availability of digital administration services, and to build an intelligent administration offering personalized and proactive services. One of the difficulties faced by the administrations is finding professionals specialized in certain areas related to digital transformation and the other, finding the balance between legal frameworks and proactive, usable and easy digital services.

The Third Sector Board and Lafede.cat have proposed one decalogue to simplify digital procedures with the public administration and thus improve their social work. These proposals respond to two studies carried out by both organizations that analyze the technical challenges faced by social and cooperation entities in the process of presenting projects and justifying subsidies.
