Three AOC AI systems included in Social Services Algorithm Radar unveiled at MWC 2024
Catalan administrations continue to move towards fully digital governments. This is shown by the balance of use of AOC services for 2021. The most important indicator is that in 2021 each person has completed 5 digital procedures or actions a year with the Administration, which means an increase of almost 50% over the previous year. In 2020, the year of confinement, the number of actions also increased by 50% compared to 2019 (pre-pandemic). This means that in two years, the digital relationship between citizens and the administration has doubled.
According to the AOC methodology, which we have recently updated with the collaboration of Proava (Generalitat), the use of AOC services has generated 654 million savings. In addition, 79% value digital public services positively or very positively
Administrations have made a great effort to adapt and digitize: today 76% of citizens' applications are made electronically. And almost 100% of the administrations guarantee the digital rights of processing and transparency. Of these, 90% use AOC services to comply with legal obligations.
In order to be able to interact with the Administration from home, a digital identity is essential. We have already delivered 2,4 million mobile idCAT or idCAT certified identities to make this possible. In addition, during 2021, an average of 1.1 million transactions were made per day with an availability of 99,6%.
Support, training and accompaniment services are essential to achieve these goals. The AOC manages 65.000 applications a year and has organized training sessions and seminars attended by 3.700 people.
