The AOC participates in the GovTech conference on local innovation at the service of citizens
The term for present proposals to participate as speakers in the next edition of the Digital Government 2021 Congress, which is scheduled for the week of October 23, will be open until July 16. In this edition we want to emphasize the opportunities that have arisen as a result of the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, to transform the administration in accordance with the new needs and values of society.
El Digital Government Congress is the reference debate forum in Catalonia in the field of digital transformation of the public sector; a meeting point and exchange of experiences especially aimed at elected officials, managers and technicians who promote the digital transformation in the Catalan administrations.
The program will be developed around the principles of the European Declaration on the Digital Society and Securities-Based E-Government, 8 December 2020 which are:
- Digital rights
- Open government and digital inclusion
- Digital training
- Trust and security
- Digital sovereignty and interoperability
- People-centered services
- Cultural change, resilience and sustainability
The criteria for prioritizing the selection of papers are as follows:
- Proven experience with demonstrable results (good practices)
- Case of failure from which one can learn
- Innovative initiative applied to practice
- Strategic reflection initiative
- Diversity of topics to be addressed according to the axes
- Plurality of participation of administrations
In line with the new reality, the Digital Government Congress is changing its format and opting for one hybrid event which will combine online audience participation with roundtables and other face-to-face activities in small groups.
