The Department of Justice through the Democratic Memorial of Catalonia opens the call from grants in concurrence to projects of commemorative activities, research and dissemination of democratic memory (ref. BDNS 573944).
The performances which can be object of subsidy must correspond to one of the following areas:
- a) Area 1. Actions commemorating events or actions in homage to individuals and / or legal entities that have been significant for their commitment to the fight for the defense and restoration of freedoms and democracy.
- b) Area 2. Dissemination and training activities: this includes the organization of conferences, seminars, exhibitions, non-fiction audiovisual products, the publication of publications and educational and / or pedagogical and cultural and / or artistic projects.
- c) Area 3. Research projects: will include unpublished research on history and memory using archival, visual, oral and written sources, among others.
- d) Area 4. Projects for the cataloging, inventory and digitization of documentary collections.
