The fourth edition of the Postgraduate in Electronic Administration and Government Open to the Local World, organized by the UdG Foundation, the Girona Provincial Council, the School of Public Administration of Catalonia and the AOC Consortium, with the representants of the organizing institutions and the new class of students.
The inaugural presentation, which can be followed online via AOC Youtube channel, will be in charge ofEstrella Montolío, Professor of Hispanic Linguistics at the University of Barcelona and an expert in communication, who focuses her professional activity on the study of communicative exchanges in professional contexts and specializes in clarifying institutional administrative legal discourse.
Under the title “Digitalization, transparència and Open Government. The challenge of achieving clear communication”, Estrella Montolío will talk to us about how, in recent years, concepts such as modernization of administration, efficient administration, transparència, digitalization or accessibility have become commonplace and therefore, they are presented as necessary objectives to meet the needs and expectations of citizens in the 21st century. However, the usual experience of citizens in their communication with the Administration is neither fluid, nor simple, nor clear, nor friendly, a frustration that has been accentuated many times with the digitalization processes. Therefore, the implementation of clear communication methodologies constitutes the main challenge of our administrations.
