A new qualified certificate profile, the T-CAT as a public body worker, will be available on 10 February.
The novelty of the T-CAT as a public body worker is that it is intended for Catalan public sector staff governed by the labor law.

This new T-CAT will respond to all Catalan public sector staff according to the scope defined in article 2.1 of Law 29/2010, which until now could not obtain a T-CAT.
With the application of the European regulation EIDAS and in accordance with the document “Electronic Certificate Profiles”Of the Direction of Technologies of the Information and the Communications of the Ministry of Finance and Public Administrations, the traditional T-CAT included the attribute public employee and this did not allow to do certificates to the personnel of the Catalan administrations that did not have of this attribute .
In the same vein, the new T-CAT for public employee will be offered card or software (T-CAT P) and will have the same costs as a T-CAT for public employee. The application, as always, will be made through EACAT.
