The content of the procedure “Application for access to public information (SAIP)” that the AOC Consortium makes available to local bodies has been reviewed and modified following the evaluation of the management of applications for the right to access to public information (SAIP) by the Catalan Ombudsman to various local bodies in Catalonia through the hidden citizen methodology was revised.
From this review it has been decided to incorporate the field “Reason for the request” which must be completed in a mandatory manner in accordance with article 26.2 of Law 19/2014 of Transparència, right of access to public information and good governance (LTCAT), that the statement of the "reason for the application" is optional and the absence of a reason cannot lead to the impossibility of submitting your application or its refusal, nor can it constitute a requirement for submission.
Therefore, the necessary developments have been made by the e-TRAM service to eliminate this mandatory requirement. It is no longer mandatory.
It should be noted that for the hundred entities that already have the new version of the e-TRAM (2.0), this procedure since its inception includes the field "reason" only optional. In addition, in the new version of e-TRAM, the form makes it easier for citizens to choose the priority format in which they want to have the return of information (including in the possibilities open and reusable formats).
