We promote digital administration services with information banners at headquarters, transparency portal and new e-TRAM
This post is over 1 year old. Content may not be up to date.
From the AOC we work to promote the digital transformation of the Catalan administrations, and within this context the citizens also play a very important role, so from the AOC we want to help the citizens to know the services that has at its disposal to make this digital interaction with administrations easier.
During the elections to the Parliament of Catalonia on February 14, we made a first approach when we incorporated a banner into the Valid identification service to encourage the application for voting by mail through idcatMobil.
Banner promoting mail voting
This first banner was available on the Valid website for 90 days and during that time there were more than 7M visits to the identification portal. We do not have direct data, but it certainly helped to encourage postal voting, which reached a record number of 284.706 applications, 5,30% of the total Catalan census.
After this first experience, we have now started a second campaign based on the publication of a banner that promotes “My space”, with a link to the inter-administrative citizen folder, at the head of the electronic headquarters and transparency portals, and also at new e-TRAM (2.0) that we are deploying in the territory.

So far we have started the tests with 6 entities that already have the active banner: specifically the municipalities of Riells and Viabrea, Sant Celoni and Sant Just Desvern, the county councils of Alt Empordà and Pla d'Urgell, as well as the own AOC consortia. But after a short period of testing we will extend the publication of the banner to all entities that have the citizen folder service "My space".
How it works
At the end of the testing period, the activation of the banner will be done automatically by the AOC on the headquarters and transparency portals of those entities that have "my space". Also in the new e-TRAM 2.0 processing portals.
However, if the entity does not want to have the active banner, any user who publishes open government services and from the management menu (transparency customization) can deactivate it so that it does not appear on its portal. As for the citizens, they also have the option to close it (ticking "I'm not interested"), and in future visits they will no longer appear.
We hope you enjoy this new feature to promote digital transformation services to the public; we will soon be incorporating new banners and other display improvements to bring digital services closer to the public.
