Continuous improvement of the Digital Maturity Index: how do we move forward?
As of this July, a start and end date has been implemented in the search for the Census history by EACAT. This change has been made to give you the possibility to limit the search only to the specific time space requested by the procedure and that, therefore, you can comply with one of the principles relating to data processing, that of minimization.
Recall that Article 5.1 c) of EU Regulation 2016/679 expressly states that the data strictly necessary for the purpose pursued must be processed: personal data will be adequate, relevant and limited to what is needed for the procedure. .
On the other hand, the consultation now includes up to 11 years to give the possibility to consult the data of the Register of overdue files.
In the event that any data is required beyond this time limit, you should send us one formal requirement to Support on the need to consult older data. The AOC could only meet data query requirements from July 2006 (start date of the Census History query service).
