Coatí playing in the middle of a meadowWithin the framework of Royal Decree 630/2013, of August 2, by which the Spanish Catalog of invasive exotic species is regulated, and the Regulation (EU) 1143/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of October 22, on the prevention and management of the introduction and spread of invasive exotic species, control actions and possession, in specific cases, of invasive exotic species can be authorized.

For this reason, the Department of Territory and Sustainability publish un new service authorize the control of invasive exotic species and their exceptional possession, in accordance with current legislation.
