The next April 8 functional and corrective improvements are incorporated into the transparency portal and the open data portal offered by the AOC in collaboration with the Network of Transparent Governments of Catalonia.
Main news:
New advanced configuration module for political organization items
Incorporation of a new module which makes it easier for councils to improve the display of key items associated with the municipal organization (municipal portfolio, elected officials, political groups, governing bodies, as well as senior officials and temporary and / or managerial staff), under a standard and agile model by means of a integrated view of the different items, to advance in a better navigability, usability and reuse of the public information from the own portal.
It is important to add that these works have been shared with the different members of the XGT, but also with the team of the UAB Communication Laboratory (Infoparticipa Seal). Therefore, if the improvements of this new module are applied, there is a significant improvement in the display on the transparency portal of the set of indicators of group 1-11 of the Infoparticipa seal.
So, if you are a city council, you will have this functionality on the editing portal. By default it appears disabled, however following this manual, you will be able to advance in its parameterization.
New module of economic management indicators
Incorporation of a new module in the transparency portal to explain to the public different indicators of economic management in a graphic, understandable and close format.
The new module makes it easy to view a series of indicators such as budget, debt, investments, tax burden or income and expenditure settlements on the portal.
It also facilitates the visualization of data from the last 5 years, know its impact per inhabitant / year, or see the evolution with respect to the county, provincial and Catalan.
It should be noted that all the data have been obtained from different supra-municipal sources, and have been made public on the different open data portals of the entities that have the Transparency and open data portal of the AOC, and therefore are in open and reusable format.
This module, standard for all councils, will be available both from the "cover" of the transparency portal, and to the detail of the family of "Economic Management" available To activate it from the edition just change to DISPLAY indicating YES.
