The 1.264 public bodies that use the e-Notum service have made a total of 3,6 million electronic notifications in 2019, a figure that represents a significant increase in use of 56%, which was 2,3 million on year 2018. This means that the e-NOTUM service has been the AOC service that has grown the most during 2019.
The main user administrations, in absolute value, are the Generalitat de Catalunya (927.201), the Tax Management Body of the Diputació de Barcelona (851.954) and Base de la Diputació de Tarragona (259.322) which have jointly carried out more than half (specifically 56%) of the total volume of notifications. Thus, the main use of notifications is related to the management of taxes and traffic penalties.
With regard to the town councils and the level of sending electronic notifications per inhabitant, the following municipalities stand out:
The increase in the use of e-NOTUM has generated an economic saving of 52 million euros in 2018, according to the methodology "Economic savings from the use of digital administration" of the AOC. In addition, 72% of citizens, associations and companies that receive electronic notifications state that they are satisfied or very satisfied with the service. This indicator has been extracted from the 117.000 satisfaction surveys collected during 2019 related to e-Notum.
