The Agency will invest 2,5 million euros in the deployment of a comprehensive cybersecurity service that covers the detection, prevention, training, protection and rapid response of local governments to possible cybersecurity incidents.
The new cybersecurity model will provide them with a set of tools, services and resources grouped into three blocks of solutions: a security portal, an online platform and the ability to respond to any type of incident.
Thus, the security web portal, with personalized access for each local body, will have information, training and governance resources on cybersecurity. Prevention is considered a priority by the Agency and for this reason one of the objectives is to implement a culture of cybersecurity in the field of Local Administration.
It is also planned to create a platform that will allow the deployment of solutions for the detection, protection and monitoring of the infrastructures of local bodies, as well as recommendations to increase the maturity of the system. And third, quick incident response services that will include alerts, a response team, coordinated management, and solutions for recovering from possible data loss.
