The purpose of the new Immigration and Citizenship module in theHèstia is to facilitate the daily work of professionals responsible for the Immigration and Citizenship area and to comply with the registration of data on the actions described in Decree 150 of 2014, of November 18, on the Reception Services for Immigrants and Returnees to Catalonia, which aims to regulate the deployment of reception services, which promote the autonomy and equal opportunities of immigrants and returnees to Catalonia, and also to remove the obstacles that prevent this due, mainly, to the lack of basic language skills and ignorance of society and the legal system, with the aim of making the principle of equality effective and achieving greater social cohesion.
The data collection carried out in this module of theHèstia It is limited to data referring to the first reception service, without taking into account specialized reception programs.
