Service cut April 5 – 8: planned actions in relation to the services affected by the calculation of deadlines
On November 15, GAVIUS was presented in Gavà, an innovative digital transformation project that will put thesmart administration at the service of the citizenship in the field of social benefits:
The project, led bycity council of Gavà, is funded by the European fund Urban Innovation Actions - with 4.3 million euros - and is an example of joint work between administration, business, citizenship and research. This is the so-called "quadruple propeller" which in this project will be represented by:
- Public sector: Gavà City Council, Mataró City Council and AOC Consortium.
- Company: GFI and EY
- Research: UPC and CIMNE
- Civil society: Xnet
GAVIUS is the virtual assistant of the local administration that communicates to the citizens which ones social aid they are available, how they are processed, how they are granted and how they can be perceived in a comfortable, fast, simple way and via mobile.

The eight public and private entities participating in the GAVIUS project contribute their vision and knowledge in the fields of the digital transition to the local world, the application of artificial intelligence and legal limits, the usability of public services, the preservation of digital identity, the processes of ideation and co-creation with citizens and public staff, piloting, standardization, etc.
The AOC brings to GAVIUS its experience of the MyGov Social project, in the development of innovative personalized, proactive services that generate trust in the public. Specifically the AOC:
- She will share her project experience MyGov Social, in the development of personalized, proactive and trustworthy social services in the citizenry.
- It will plan the replication of the Gavius project in the more than 800 town councils users of the Hestia service, an information system that manages local social services
- Will make available the digital identity services of Catalonia to facilitate the processing of citizenship, adding biometric recognition elements to strengthen security and confidence measures.
- It will act as a node forinteroperability of Catalonia in the public sector, to simplify the processing process, avoiding asking citizens for documents that are in the possession of the Administration.
