The management of the county archives corresponds to the county councils and to the county capital municipalities when co-management is established in the counties. The Department of Culture must annually provide the county councils with the means and resources for their management, in terms equivalent to the transfers that have taken place since the delegations of powers over archives agreed in execution of the Decree 208/1989, of the 1 of August, of delegation of competitions in matter of culture in the counties.
In order to speed up the process linked to this legal mandate and simplify the process, we have decided to create this specific channel within EACAT with the intention of achieving an agile and fluid dialogue between the participating administrations.
