Within the framework of the 12×12 Congress, a joint initiative of Tertúlia Digital and the Smar strategytCat of the Generalitat of Catalonia, and with the collaboration of the Women, Business and Economy Observatory of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, the 12×12 Dona TIC award has been promoted for another year, which aims to recognize the fundamental role of women in the professional, business and academic world of the ICT field.
This year, seven categories will be awarded:
- Entrepreneur: The woman must be the founder or co-founder of an active company in the ICT sector.
- Professional: The woman must work for a company or organization or be a freelance, be engaged in the field of ICT and be in possession of a university degree in ICT.
- Academic / Researcher: Women must be engaged in training and / or research in the field of ICT and must have a university degree in ICT.
- Communicator: Women must work in the field of communication related to ICT.
- Woman ICT revelation: Women with a short but very relevant career. Women must have played a significant and important role in the field of ICT.
- Student ICT:
- Student ICT University: The girl must be a student of any university degree ICT and must have developed a project and / or initiative outstanding in the field of ICT
- Student ICT FP: The girl must be a student of any vocational training cycle in the field of ICT and must have developed and / or been developing a project and / or initiative that stands out in the field of ICT
- Leading initiatives:
- Business Initiative: Any company that has developed its own initiative that values the role of women in the field of ICT
- Entity initiative, training center / institution: Any entity and / or training center / institution that has developed its own initiative, which highlights the role of women in the field of ICT
During the 12 × 12 Congress, the Great New Year's Meeting of Catalan ICTs, these awards will be presented.
