CESICAT's quick guide to secure use of corporate social networks

The General Directorate of Citizen Services has presented Quick guide to safe use of corporate social media on mobile devices. The document, prepared by the Catalan Information Security Center (CESICAT), includes a series of security tips for corporate social media publishers on tools such as Tweetdeck or the page manager of Facebook. It also includes recommendations on device security, emphasis on secure passwords, the risk of public Wi-Fi networks, or the installation of reliable applications.

The CESICAT initiative is a pioneer because, until now, the public sector in Catalonia did not have a guide of recommendations for the safe use of social networks.
