The call on the awarding of tourism awards in Catalonia, 2018. This year special consideration will be given to those initiatives that fall within the cultural sector, as the Department of Business and Knowledge has declared 2018 as the Year of Cultural Tourism .
The recipients of these awards may be recipients of natural and legal persons, public or private, related to tourist activities or activities of tourist interest that have contributed to the tourist development of Catalonia.
In this year's call, a Tourism Medal or a Tourism Diploma of Catalonia will be awarded, depending on whether the recognition is for an individual or for an institution, corporation, entity or establishment, for each of the following four categories. :
- a) Better tourist experience.
- b) Innovation in promotional and marketing actions.
- c) Better knowledge and research project related to the tourism sector.
- d) Responsible tourism.
It should be noted that these awards are exclusively honorary and do not involve any financial endowment.
The submission period runs from July 4 to August 3, 2018, both inclusive.
